About Us
The Aziza Project offers hope to women suffering from complex gynecologic pain by providing funding for them to see a doctor who has the knowledge & training to diagnose them. Our mission is to support women in getting accurate diagnoses and proper care for their complex gynecologic conditions.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Social Media Volunteer to create engaging content for our Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn pages. This role is crucial in educating our audience about our mission, connecting with potential clients, and engaging donors.
Time Commitment
Approximately 5-7 hours per week, with some flexibility based on project needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 3 social media posts per week across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Write compelling captions that align with our mission and branding
- Add text to our existing branded visual templates
- Research relevant topics related to complex gynecologic conditions
- Propose content ideas and contribute to social media strategy
- Submit all content to the Executive Director for approval before posting
- Review social media analytics and prepare regular performance reports
- Stay informed about social media trends and best practices
Requirements
- Experience with or knowledge of complex gynecologic conditions (e.g., endometriosis, lichen sclerosus)
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Ability to adhere to branding guidelines and maintain a consistent voice
- Strong research skills and attention to detail
- Ability to pass a background check
Qualifications
- Personal experience with complex gynecologic care is highly valued
- Background in healthcare, women’s health, or related fields is a plus
- Previous experience in social media content creation is preferred
